Mobile SDK
Futurae develops Mobile SDKs for both the iOS and Android Platform. They are delivered through Maven for Android, and through the Swift Package Manager for iOS.
The Mobile SDK supports a subset of the solutions available on the Futurae platform, but is guaranteed to allow you to enroll, authenticate, perform transaction confirmations, and easily migrate accounts across devices for all of your users. Customers can integrate the Mobile SDK either within the main business apps (for a seamless 1-App experience), or in more complex Authenticators or Access Apps (for a secure 2-Apps experience).
However you decide to integrate the Mobile SDK, they guarantee unrivalled flexibility as they do not impose any UX or UI to provide their functionality to your users.

The Futurae App is readily available for you to use and supports all authentication methods and transaction confirmation solutions available on the Futurae Platform.

Hardware Tokens
QR-Code Tokens
Futurae implements and delivers QR-Code tokens for your users. The tokens are capable of scanning a QR-Code shown on the screen, display additional information to the user (such as transaction details), and show a 6-digit code that the user has to enter in the browser to authenticate or perform a transaction confirmation operation.
QR-Code Tokens come in multi-language configurations by default (supporting English, French, German, Italian and Spanish), with user-changeable 3AAA batteries, and a guarantee of two years. Futurae's trusted partner for designing and manufacturing hardware tokens is Gemalto (by Thales). QR-Code Tokens are ordered directly from Futurae.

Hardware Tokens
TOTP Tokens
Futurae implements and delivers TOTP tokens for your users. The tokens can exclusively be used for logins, by showing a rotating 6-digit code that changes every 30 seconds.
TOTP tokens come with fully sealed non-serviceable batteries, and a guarantee of two years. Futurae's trusted partner for designing and manufacturing hardware tokens is Gemalto (by Thales). TOTP Tokens are ordered directly from Futurae.

for corner cases
SMS
SMS-based OTPs can be useful for edge- and corner-cases, such as to enable locked out users to regain access to their accounts, or to onboard a user seamlessly.
Futurae works with European vendors to deliver SMS messages to your users, with customizable sender names to match your corporate identity (with minor limitations). SMS messages are charged on a per-SMS basis.
A word of caution: Futurae is well aware that SMS messages are not the most secure method of authentication for your users, and urges you to use them only for cases where your users might not have access to a smartphone, or for corner cases.
